Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, işe yabancılaşmanın işte var olamama ve işten ayrılma niyetine etkisini tespit etmektir. Ayrıca bu etkileşimde babacan liderliğin rolü de araştırılmıştır. Bu kapsamda, nicel bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Anket tekniğiyle toplanan veriler kısmi en küçük kareler yöntemine dayalı yapısal eşitlik modellemesi yaklaşımı ile test edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, işe yabancılaşmanın işte var olamama ve işten ayrılma niyeti üzerinde pozitif ve anlamlı bir etkisi, babacan liderlik üzerinde ise negatif ve anlamlı bir etkisi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre işte var olamamanın işten ayrılma niyeti üzerinde pozitif ve anlamlı bir etkisi vardır. Ayrıca babacan liderliğin işte var olamama ve işten ayrılma niyeti üzerinde negatif yönlü ve anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Bootstrapping yöntemiyle elde edilen aracı etki analizi sonuçlarına göre Babacan liderlik modele dahil edildiğinde ise işe yabancılaşmanın bağımlı değişkenler üzerindeki etkisinin azaldığı görülmüştür. Bu sebeple babacan liderliğin modelde aracılık etkisine sahip olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to determine the effect of work alienation on absenteeism and turnover intention. Additionally, the role of paternalistic leadership in this relationship was also investigated. In this context, a quantitative research was carried out. The data collected by the survey technique were tested with the structural equation modelling approach based on the partial least squares method. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that work alienation had a positive and significant effect on presenteeism and turnover intention, and a negative and significant effect on paternalistic leadership. According to the results of the analysis,presenteeism had a positive and significant effect on the turnover intention. In addition, it was concluded that paternalistic leadership had a negative and significant effect on presenteeism and turnover intention. According to the results of the mediaton effect analysis obtained by the bootstrapping method, it was observed that the effect of work alienation on the dependent variables decreased when paternalistic leadership was included in the structural model. For this reason, it was concluded that paternalistic leadership had mediating effect in the analysis.
