Özet

The freshwater mussel (Unio elongatulus eucirrus), native to the Euphrates River basin in T & uuml;rkiye, holds little economic value; however, it plays an important ecological role in ABSTRACTnatural aquatic ecosystems. Consequently, understanding methoate(DMT)pestcideisoneofthechemicalsused to its biology particularly its reproductive traits, such as semen otect smeagr ultural aeas om harmfulrgni msDMT quality, sperm motility, and morphology is of scientific sidues released drectly or ndirectly o the environment interest. This study aimed to investigate several reproductive parameters in 10 male specimens of this species,including use serous problems in nature.DMT r sdues mixed with the sperm concentration,seminal pH, motility characteristics, and sperm morphometry.
