Used as construction components, these stones are highly praised by the people living in those areas due to their ease of handling and convenient thermal characteristics. The aim is to determine the thermal and mechanical properties of these stones. Samples were taken from two different quarries for each stone and after chemical analysis, they were subjected to thermal conductivity, specific heat capacity, water absorption, inhalation ability and mechanical strength tests.
