Dermatoses related to technological devices use also increased along. Technology induced dermatoses can be classified as computer (desktop computer, laptop) and computer accessories (mouse, keyboard, mouse pad, keyboard wrist rest), phones (mobile and smart phones) and video game consoles related. These dermatoses may be due to different mechanisms such as excessive use of the device or allergic reactions. Computers have a significant importance in our lives because of their use in both personal and occupational. Dermatoses related to computer use can be grouped as contact dermatitis induced by computer and accessory devices, frictional lesions induced by overuse, erythema ab igne and screen dermatitis. Cell phones have been used more frequently than home phones for communication nowadays. In recent years, the widely used smart phones have been used primarily for internet and other purposes besides telecommunication. Dermatoses related to phone use can be grouped as contact dermatitis and overuse induced dermatoses. With the widespread use of video games especially in adolescents has increased the related dermatoses. Dermatoses related to video games can be grouped as frictional lesions due to excessive use, palmar hidradenitis and contact dermatitis.
