The data used in the research belonged to 2021 and were obtained by questionnaires from 112 producers determined by the proportional distribution method, one of the stratified random sampling methods. To show the socioeconomic performance of the enterprises in dry conditions, criteria such as Gross Production Value, Operating Costs, Gross Profit, and Pure Product were calculated. In addition, the demographic situation of the farmer and his family was revealed using descriptive statistics. Linear programming was used for the optimum plan of the production pattern that the farmer intends to implement. Fractional linear programming was used to determine the new normative production pattern based on water constraints and profit maximization. The size of the farmland per enterprise in the examined enterprises is 309.28 decares on the average of the enterprises. On the average of the enterprises examined, 89.78% of the total gross production value consists of plant production and 10.22% of animal production value. Considering the agricultural income situation, it is seen that 93,685.07 TL income was obtained in general. When the land structure of the enterprises is examined, it has been determined that it is impossible to grow every product in every area. To avoid interrupting the agricultural subsidies provided, certain limitations that will occur after irrigation in the operating land are included in the plan. Accordingly, fruit land and paddy land were fixed in the planning; field land was 15% for barley, 50% for wheat, 33% for sugar beet, 50% for corn and cotton, 15% for alfalfa, 20% for watermelon, and vegetable land (tomato and lettuce) was limited to 50%. The results show differences in the new production pattern compared to the current situation and that the producers will increase their agricultural incomes, especially gross profit.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessDry farmingNormative production planfractional programmingirrigated farmingAmbar basin.A Sustainable Normative Production Plan for the Areas to be Opened for Irrigation: Ambar Dam Basin SampleArticle2321381481322669
