    Studies on Chemical Control Programs Against Powdery Mildew Disease (Erysiphe necator Schw.) in Vineyards in Denizli Province

    In Turkey, chemical control of powdery mildew (Erysiphe necator Schw.) is implemented according to the Plant Protection Technical Instruction. However, it is known that there are challenges in the control of this disease in practice. Therefore, a project has been initiated by the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies to determine the optimal timing for spraying in order to effectively control the disease. The project aims to address the challenges encountered in the control of powdery mildew and contribute to the development of a more effective control strategy. In this project, three different spraying programs were tested to determine the correct timing for chemical control. The study, in 2015, as well as both age to Aegean grown dried, exports in terms of the economic importance and bond powdery mildew with infected Sultana Seedless Denizli/Buldan-Yenicekent where the grape variety, was held in a vineyard in situated wire system. According to the A Programme the rate of 74.05% in the practices. According to the A program is made between the first two applications to a application more added (B Programme) and started applying a rate of 91.52%, in the early period (C Programme) obtain effect in practice is the rate of 94.56%. Based on the evaluations, similar results were obtained in both B Program and C Program, with these two programs being the most effective. Considering factors such as the number of sprays, labor, cost savings on pesticides, and the preservation of natural balance, it was concluded that Program B would be the most recommended approach for effective control.
