    Elâzığ Beyzade Efendi Konağı’nın Yapısal Sorunlarına İlişkin Bir İnceleme

    Harput’un kale rolünü kaybetmesiyle birlikte, şehir merkezi Elâzığ Ovası’na taşınmıştır. Yeni şehir merkezinde demiryolunun ve PTT binasının yapılmasından sonra bölge hızlı bir kentleşme sürecine girmiştir. Yaşanan hızlı ve kontrolsüz dönüşümlere bağlı olarak, Elazığ’daki pek çok tarihi yapı yok olmuştur. Sayıları gün geçtikçe azalan bu yapıların, korunması ve gelecek kuşaklara aktarılması için hızlı bir şekilde mevcut durumları tespit edilmelidir. Tespit çalışmalarında, tarihi binaların yapısal sorunları doğru analiz edilmeli ve bu yapılar için en uygun müdahale (bakım, onarım, iyileştirme, güçlendirme…vb.) kararları verilmelidir. Bu bağlamda, Elazığ’ın tarihi binalarındaki yapısal sorunları belirlemede örnek teşkil etmesi amacı ile bu makale çalışması oluşturulmuştur. Makalede, Elazığ’ın geleneksel mimarisini en iyi şekilde temsil eden yapılardan Beyzade Efendi Konağı üzerinde araştırmalar yapılmıştır. Çalışmada öncelikle, binanın tarihi hakkında bir literatür araştırması yapılmıştır. Ardından, mekânsal ve yapısal özelliklerini tespit etmek üzere konağın bulunduğu alana gözlemsel ve teknik geziler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmalardan elde edilen veriler ışığında konağın yapısal sorunları belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda, konağın yapısal sorunlarına yönelik çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. Çalışmada tespit edilen yapısal sorunların ve çözüm önerilerinin, konak için gelecekte alınacak müdahale kararlarına yardımcı olması hedeflenmiştir.

    Elazığ İli İçme Beldesi Ekoturizm Potansiyelinin Değerlendirilmesi

    Yaşam biçimi ve psikolojik gereksinimler sonucu insanların tatil ve dinlenme ihtiyacını karşılamak üzere çeşitli turizm faaliyetleri geliştirilmiştir. Ekoturizm, günümüz toplum ve devlet düzeninin getirdiği ekonomik kaygıya bağlı olarak sürdürülebilir ilkeler ve amaçlar çerçevesinde şekillenen turizm faaliyetlerinden biridir. Turizm potansiyeli olan doğal güzelliklerin, tarihi eserlerin ve bölge ekonomisine katkı sunacak çeşitli etkinliklerin değerlendirilmesi ile ekoturizm gerçekleşir. Çalışmada, tarihi birikime ve doğal güzelliklere sahip İçme Beldesi’nin ekoturizm potansiyeli üzerine bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, ekoturizm ve bölge tarihi hakkında literatür çalışması yapılmış, bölgenin mevcut durumunu belirlemek üzere gözlemsel bir gezi düzenlenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler ışığında, bölgenin ekoturizm açısından SWOT analizi yapılmış ve bölgenin ekoturizm merkezine dönüşümü için stratejiler sunulmuştur.

    Evaluation of WELL Covid-19 Certificate Structure and Criteria

    The increase in global environmental problems, epidemics and natural disasters has caused important changes in human life and social life style. Thousands of people died as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic, which emerged at the end of 2019 and continues to have an impact all over the world. In the epidemic process, the creation of sustainable and healthy lifestyles and spaces has gained importance. If measures are not taken against pandemics and infections, especially indoors, the risk and speed of transmission of the disease increases, threatening human health and safety. In the context of designing buildings in accordance with the pandemic, the authorities have developed the WELL Covid-19 Health Safety Rating to provide healthier and more sustainable interior spaces. Right after its creation, the certificate started to be used effectively in many countries. In addition, WELL Covid-19 Health Safety Rating has been accepted by important organizations such as LEED, which has been providing certificate services for a long time. In this context, in the study, the purpose, method, evaluation criteria and functioning of the WELL Covid-19 Health Safety Rating were obtained as a result of literature research. In addition, the general structure and evaluation criteria of the certificate have been extensively examined on a building that has received WELL Covid-19 Health Safety Rating.

    Seismic Soil-Structure Interaction of a Masonry Structure: Sungurbey Mosque

    In existing buildings, it may be necessary to repair, adapt, renew, relocate or demolish buildings and building parts that have come to the end of their usage period due to spatial, functional, technical and economic obsolescence. After the necessary applications to extend the service life of buildings, it is of great importance to analyze the dynamic behavior of buildings under soil-structure interaction and earthquake loads and to obtain accurate results. In this study, the seismic soil-structure interaction of the historical Sungur Bey Mosque, which was first built in 1577 but was disassembled, moved and rebuilt in another area (relocated) in order to preserve its historical and cultural values and extend its service life, was examined. The analysis of the masonry structure that survived after the Sivrice (2020) earthquake, where the great loss of life and property occurred, was carried out with the PLAXIS 3D software program. The real record of the Sivrice NS (2020) earthquake was used in dynamic analysis. Local soil properties obtained as a result of field investigation studies were utilized in numerical modeling. Depending on the result of the analyzes, the effects of soil-structure interaction on a reconstructed historical masonry structure were examined. The results obtained from the analysis showed that the local soil conditions have an amplification effect on seismic waves that may induce structural damages in prospective seismic events.
