Religions have made significant contributions to economic relations and therefore, to the development of
accounting, as on many social relations. Life in the religion of Islam is based on the balance of the world and
afterlife. In the religion of Islam, which deals with the life of the world in integrity, there are some basic principles
of economy as well as some detailed rules regarding commercial relations. Many of these principles and rules are
linked to accounting science. Although there are many concepts, rules and principles related to accounting science
in the Quran, this relationship has not been adequately addressed in studies conducted so far. This study aims to
establish a relationship with accounting in issues such as registration, measurement and weighing, interest, alms,
partnership, pilgrimage and employment contract in the Quran and contribute to filling the gap in this field. In this
context, the approach of the religion of Islam to accounting and its contribution to the development of accounting
have been discussed from different aspects.
