Yer-parça:sergi tarihi yazımına doğru bir deneme

Abstract

Bu metin Eylül 2021’de Ankara’da açılan “Yer-Parça” sergisini, sanat tarihi yazımının büyük anlatılarla ilerleyen yöntemlerine alternatif olarak gelişen sergi tarihçeleri perspektifi içinden inceler. Tekil sergileri odağına alan bu yaklaşım güncelin içinde güncelin tarihine yaklaşmanın bir yolu olarak sergi formunun kısa süreli ifadelerini odağa alarak tarihe not düşmeyi dener. Tarih yazımının sınıflandırmalarının dışında kalanları, arşivin gözünden kaçanları kaydetmeye çalışan bu yaklaşım içerisinde “Yer-Parça” sergisi, insan merkezci bir dünyanın alternatiflerini düşünme niyetiyle de insanın kahramanlıklarından tarih kuran bir tarihçiliğin çeperinde durur. Günümüz sanatının insan sonrası düşünceye yakın temas içinde ilerleyen üretimi içinde, böylesi bir sergi okuması nitel bir vaka çalışması olarak da düşünülebilir. Bu anlamda bu metin, medeniyetin toprak üzerindeki tahakkümünü toprak malzemeyle yorumlayan çalışmaları incelerken, serginin güncel tartışmalarla ilişkilerini analiz etmeyi amaçlar.

This text examines the exhibition “Yer-Parça”, which opened in Ankara in September 2021, from the perspective of exhibition histories, which developed as an alternative to the grand narrative methods of art historiography. This approach, which focuses on individual exhibitions, tries to leave a mark on history by focusing on the short-term expressions of the exhibition form as a way of approaching the history of the contemporary within the current time. In this approach, what is out of the classifications of historiography and what escapes the attention of the archive is recorded, the “Yer-Parça” exhibition stands at the periphery of a historiography that makes history out of human heroism with the intention to reconsider the alternatives to an anthropocentric world. Such a reading can also be considered as a qualitative case study in the production of today's art, in close contact with posthuman thought. In this sense, this text aims to analyze the selected exhibition in relation to the current debates, while examining the works that interpret the domination of civilization on soil with the very material of the soil.
