COVID-19’da Akciğer Dışı Şikâyetlerle Acil Servis Başvuruları

Abstract

2019 yılında ilk olarak Çin’in Hubai eyaletinde başlayan ve daha sonra Dünya Sağlık Örgütü tarafından pandemi kabul edilen koronavirüs hastalığı-2019 (COVID-19) salgınının başlangıcında öncelikli olarak solunum sisteminini hedef alan bir hastalık olduğu düşünülürken kısa süre sonra insan vücudunda birçok sistemi etkilediği ortaya çıkmıştır. Birçok hastada kardiyolojik, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliyer ve nörolojik şikâyetler gelişmiştir ve birçok hasta bu şikâyetlerle acil servislere başvurmaktadır. Acil servis hekimleri, tanılanmış veya tanısı konmamış bu COVID-19 hastalarının şikâyetlerini değerlendirirken bu sistemlere yönelik semptomlara dikkat etmeli ve ayırıcı tanıda COVID-19 hastalığı gözardı edilmemelidir.

While it was thought to be a disease primarily targeting the respiratory system at the beginning of the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) epidemic, which started in the Hubai province of China in 2019 and was later accepted as a pandemic by the World Health Organization, it soon emerged that it affected many systems in the human body. Many patients developed cardiological, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and neurological symptoms. Many patients present to the emergency department with these symptoms. Emergency physicians should pay attention to the symptoms of these systems when evaluating the complaints of these diagnosed or undiagnosed COVID-19 patients, and the possibility of COVID-19 in the differential diagnosis should not be ignored.
